Woodruff Sewer Service
The City of Woodruff Sewer department maintains over 34 miles of underground sewer collection pipe. The City treats an average of 250,000 gallons of wastewater per day. A South Carolina Class B Biological Waste Water License is required of City employees to operate the Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Business hours for the Sewer Department are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and 7:30am to 11:00am on Friday. Please contact the department at 476.8154 during normal business hours. If you have an after-hours emergency, you may leave a message with the operator at 476.8154 and staff will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Why do I receive separate bills for Water Service and Sewer/ Sanitation-Trash service?

Water – service provided by Woodruff Roebuck Water District- (billed monthly)     
 Sewer/Trash - service provided by City of Woodruff- (billed bi-monthly).

When should I receive my Sewer/Sanitation-trash bill and when is the payment due date?

Sewer/Sanitation-Trash are billed together on one bill. You will receive your sewer bill around the 15th of each EVEN numbered month. The due date will be the 6th of each ODD numbered month. The last day to make your payment is the 15th of the ODD month.

Does the City of Woodruff offer automatic payments?

You can sign up for Automatic Bank Draft, using your bank checking account and routing number. Bank Draft form is on the City of Woodruff website under Sewer Department or you can email jknight@cityofwoodruff.com for more information.

How is the sewer usage and bill amount calculated for my account?

Sewer usage is based on your water usage during the billing period. We receive reports from Woodruff Roebuck Water District with the total gallons of water used.
